There's A Whole Lot Of Shaking Going On

I wanted to share this powerful message from a fellow Hubber called godpreacher. You will see from my comments at the end of his hub that in the most part I agreed with his message or should I say god's message through him.

When we are talking of not being unequally yoked (in all area's of our lives, not just marriage), we always have to balance this along with 'being in the world but not of it' by being an example. Remember, it is very difficult to be an example if you have no relationship at all; what I am trying to say is that in order to have an effective impact on someone's life there usually has to be a relationship. I used to get various people come to my door and want to come in and speak to me about God, but they weren't coming in as I did not have any relationship or common ground with them. I am not saying that we start sinning in order to have common ground, but we do need to be prepared to share our testimony and remember that we also were once in the dark in regards to salvation and the need for it.

Revelation 12:7-11 (Amplified Bible)

7Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels went forth to battle with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought.
8But they were defeated, and there was no room found for them in heaven any longer.
9And the huge dragon was cast down and out--that age-old serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, he who is the seducer (deceiver) of all humanity the world over; he was forced out and down to the earth, and his angels were flung out along with him.(A)
10Then I heard a strong (loud) voice in heaven, saying, Now it has come--the salvation and the power and the kingdom (the dominion, the reign) of our God, and the power (the sovereignty, the authority) of His Christ (the Messiah); for the accuser of our brethren, he who keeps bringing before our God charges against them day and night, has been cast out!(B)
11And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].

Verse 11 is still the way we overcome; by the blood of Jesus and this part is what we often leave out for a variety of reasons By the utterance of their testimony. Thats right, our shame was taken at the cross when we turned our lives over to Christ, but still many of us feel ashamed to share with others about what type of life style we were saved from. Now I am going to add a disclaimer here. Ensure you ask the Holy Spirit just what part of your testimony to share, as He knows best. So don't write back to me with a warning that your solicitors/lawyers letter is on the way :O)

So remember dear child of God, He loves you dearly and that is why He allows you to also experience the shakings that often turn our lives on its head. We grow from these experiences (see the book of James Chapter 1, verses 1 to 20).

You are salt and light, so be at peace. remember to ask the Holy Spirit for His leading and you will be fine.

Matthew 5:13-16 (Amplified Bible)

13You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.
14You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
15Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.
16Let your light so shine before men that they may see your [a]moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and [b]recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.

Now to the anointed word from the man of God, godpreacher: http://hubpages.com/hub/Theres-A-Whole-Lot-Of-Shaking-Going-On

God bless you all,

Love Brother Don
