There was light in Goshen...

As the world goes through the worst of this financial turmoil, where will you be? I should add that I have been at a professional conference this week, where many experts on the matter are quite clearly predicting that we have not seen anywhere near the worst of this as yet, this confirmed to me what I already believed. Public spending cuts have already begun and we will all feel the effects of this, when debt/credit is called to give account, it will fail miserably. We may yet see the so called third world nations have a bigger voice, control then some would feel comfortable; after all natural resources are tangible, putting a stock price on credit is not.

How any nation or should I say government believes that spending more and giving more credit will bring us through the financial situation (I refuse to say crisis now as it is only a crisis for some) is beyond me. If a child said that if they eat enough crisps and sweets during the day it will fill up their belly and so have no need to fill up their bellies with food of substance, would you believe them? No, I dare say you would not, but we for some reason seem to have swallowed this nonsense ideology (in my opinion) that the more a country borrows the better our economy will be. Absolutely rubbish Gordon and pals... I think that part of the reason why so many nations have been swayed into this methodology is because they have had no choice. I could go on but will not, what I want to focus on is how this will affect you…

So while Egypt (The world system) goes through its crisis, will you allow yourself to be swayed and defeated or will you experience light, hold your peace and experience the salvation of the Lord?

I urge you to be in the world but not of it.... (Do not Love the world system - 1 John 2: 15-17)

Exodus 10:21-23 (Amplified Bible)
21And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand toward the heavens, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, a darkness which may be felt.
22So Moses stretched out his hand toward the sky, and for three days a thick darkness was all over the land of Egypt.
23The Egyptians could not see one another, nor did anyone rise from his place for three days; but all the Israelites had natural light in their dwellings.

If during the turmoil, when your back is against the wall, you continue to hold your faith, tell the devil where to go (as he is powerless and only uses ourselves against ourselves through high levels of deception – Us not taking/using our authority and having our peace stolen) and trust in the salvation of the Lord, then you will, I say you WILL go into your promised land.

Exodus 14:13-14 (Amplified Bible)
13Moses told the people, Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again.
14The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.

As I write these words/messages that, the Lord put in my heart to share, please also keep the Brother Don in your prayers also. On the 16th of this month at 10am, an issue of great personal importance will be taking place and in many ways, it indicate the end of what I once considered a hope, dream, and way of life forever. We all have our challenges and challenges will always come, the issue is how we chose to go through.

'Do away your hope/confidence (in the Lord) for it carries a great recompense/reward' - (BD paraphrase of Hebrews 10 vs. 35)

God bless you my brothers & Sisters.

Love Brother Don

1 Thessalonians 5:21 (New Living Translation)
‘But test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good.’
